Eleven Fun Facts About Me:

My name is pronounced "LAW-ren" and too often people mispronounce it. When I was younger it would really bother me, but the older I get, I don't really care. My husband, best friends, and family all say it correctly, so I guess that is what matters, right?
I have very little patience for bad table manners. I cannot stand slurping, chomping, finger-licking, fork-biting, or gulping. Mouth noises are only SOMEWHAT cute when babies make them. Other than that, I find them repulsive. I literally have to leave the room if someone is a loud eater because it grosses me out so much.
The very first Bible Study I did was when I was 19 years old. I learned so much and got a thirst for learning more! I love the Bible and I love Jesus!
Not a single day goes by that I do not talk to my best friend, Melanie. Whether by phone call, email, text message, or g-chat, we keep an on-going conversation!
The favorite thing I like to teach within my theatre classes is anything Shakespeare related.
I always am more productive the busier I am....yet I tend to procrastinate.
When I first started dating Josh, I felt direct signs from God that he was who I am supposed to be with. When I admitted it to Josh, he told me he felt the exact same way! I feel he has been and is such a blessing in my life.
I have always wanted to be the mother of twins.
I carry stress in my shoulders. Knots galore!
My favorite city I have visited is Chicago! I always have a fun time when I go! I have never been in the winter, though, so I may sing a different tune, if I had!
If I could live anywhere, I would live in the ATX!

What is a book that you just couldn't put down? There are several, but most recently it was The Hunger Games trilogy.
If you have a day to yourself, what do you enjoy doing? If I had a day to myself, I would probably pack up a picnic, go to the Botanic Gardens, and read a book outdoors! If it was a rainy day, I would bake and read indoors!
What is a show that you always watch? Parenthood and Modern Family
Favorite Bible verse: That's a tough one because I love so many parts of the bible. I think the one I repeat to myself most often is Proverbs 21:23. It's good to remember to hold your tongue and to think before you speak.
Favorite family activity: My favorite family activity is going on new adventures with the girls and Josh.
Best childhood memory: Playing "Sis" with my sisters and cousin, Erin.
What is your favorite characteristic about yourself and your spouse/significant other? I'm assuming this question means what I like about the two of us as a couple, so my favorite thing about us is we are open, honest, and loving every day of our relationship! He's my best friend!
If you could have any job any job in the world, and not have to worry about the income it brough in, what would it be? I would open a children's theatre and do outreach to schools in my area, especially those of lower economic status. I would also love to have a touring theatre troupe to go around to schools and other theatres to present plays to children.
What is your favorite meal to eat/fix? I love making meatloaf and mashed potatoes. I don't make it too often, though, because we are always dieting!

What is your ultimate vacation destination? I would LOVE to go to Rome and visit the Vatican!
