Season of Weddings

I am the matron of honor in 2 wedddings and a bridesmaid in another...all in 2012! (This is following being a bridesmaid in a wedding last August and singing in a wedding in January.) Needless to say, I am a busy woman in this "Season of Weddings" as I am fondly calling it. This is a time to "laugh," "dance," and "love!" (Ecc. 3:4, 8)

As I was planning a bachelorette party for my best friend, Melanie (AKA The Bestie), I found this LOVELY and PERFECT card on pinterest and voilà: a theme was born. Without giving too much away I leave you with these pictures of the invitations....

I am HONOR(ed)!

Erin was in town from Nashville last weekend and the fam got together for a little fun in celebration of her engagement! And although there were plenty of cute kids to keep us occupied for the day...

...my mind was not on them, but on a VERY important question that was asked of me:

ERIN ASKED ME TO BE HER MATRON OF HONOR!

I cannot put into words how proud I am of the wonderful woman my "little sister" has become!

I am tickled pink to be such a big part of her and Brad's big day!

I am truly "honor(ed)!"

Going All In

For the second time, Josh and I attended Casino Night at GSCC. It is a great opportunity for fellowship and fun with our fellow parish members. And just like last year, Josh disappeared at the Poker table, so Stephanie and I spent the night learning new games! Last year it was Craps and Blackjack. This year we stuck to the Roulette table!

Even though we won over "$1000" in chips....we didn't win any of the raffles. We did, however, win a silent auction for two tickets to a Mavs game and helped the church raise a lot of money for charity!
